The Litigation Section of the Louisville Bar Association will present a CLE on Thursday, November 30, 2006, regarding the changes in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that go into effect on December 1, 2006. The presentation will focus on the changes to the Rules related to electronic data and discovery. James W. Herr and Nicholas D. Donnermeyer of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald, will provide an overview of the rule changes and the impact the changes will have on attorneys, litigants and clients, as well as suggested best practices. Computer science and engineering expert Andy Cobb, AC Forensics, LLC, will conduct a presentation on computer forensics and its use in litigation, with a particular focus on the interplay between the new Civil Rules and computer forensic analysis. Finally, the CLE will conclude with a panel discussion with Michael Losavio, Jefferson Circuit Clerk to discuss the rule changes.
